| Hello
and welcome to the anime wonderland of Elancia. For someone
like you to visit this section, you must be very interested
or even lost at the many possibilities of startin out at Elancia.
So included within this little section will be the guides
and tips for all new starters |

Understanding communication |
In
Elancia, there are several ways to communicate. The most basic
form starts with the simple "enter" button followed
by a message then another "enter" to establish it.
Others, include private messaging which allows direction communication
to a certain player inregardless of location as long as he/she
is in a whisper enable map and is online. To establish private
messaging, first hold "Shift" then press the "
"/' " button next to the "enter" button,
followed a the charactor's name "enter" then the
message while remembering to establish it with a ending "enter"
button.
Lastly, "telepathy" which is a broadcasted message.
However, in order to do this, you must first have at least
10 mp and have both hands free for spell casting. First enter
your spell menu by "Alt S" click on telepathy and
watch ur mp drop. Establish a normal communication and include
"telepathy" in your message. A special chat bar
will appear fill in your message and it will be broadcasted
to everyone. |

Shortcut items and spells |
| Like
most RPG games, Elancia allows players to configure their
shortcut items and spells. This, is termed as Macro. To set
your shortcuts, first press " ~/` " button a special
menu with a few boxes will appear to your left. Click and
drag the items/skills/spells into the boxes and the shortcut
buttons 1-9 will be assigned to them accordingly. |
FP,
also know as food points. A part of Elancia's player survival
system that must not be ignored! Why? The reason being so
is because FP affects too many things within the game. Without
FPs, you charactor will be unable to regenerate their HP naturally
and attacking rates,damage,evasion and even the effectiveness
of potions will drop to drasticly terrible rates.
The most important factors of FP are that it enables the usage
of certain skills (Double Attack, Defence, etc) and that a
200ml potion which heals up to 80HP with full 20 FP would
only heal a miserable 5HP when your FP reachs 0.
Food is important! so never go on an advanture without one.
Sadly, most food items sold at the pub only recovers a miserable
1FP, with only 
fatty pork(2FP)as a good choice of FPs in the beginning. However,
do not be sad. Everyone can pick up cooking and make him/herself
a batch of fresh 
Sunny-Side up eggs, which recovers a whooping 20FP.
+ Tips!
Most Intermediate players prefer to use items that only recovers
1FP. However, they use it in coordination with skills and
spells (eg: use a food item to gain 1FP then use potions for
best effects). Such a method can be practiced but I would
personally not suggest that option as the cost of food in
this matter would be much more expensive in the long run. |

Choosing your class/job |
|
Charactor
Classes. This, is your charactor's destiny and strength
that would make your charactor a strong adversary to the
deadly minons of Elancia.
Perhaps one of the hardest to choose, even with the many
living examples available in Elancia. So, Iwould leave the
choosing to you (refer to jobs section).
+ Tips!
Just
remeber that your jobs levels with every 2 skill levels
that you gain (any 2 combination) and that with every estimated
3 job levels, your stats will be readjusted according to
the appropriate jobs
Initiationfor your respective jobs will cost u 5000 galrids.
Just make a visit to Rolancia Shrine (NorthEast of Rolancia
Town) and speak the word "occupation" to the Goddess
of El.
Advance Jobs can only be initiated in Serenica Shrine at
a cost of 50,000 galrid
